Great Cave - the most important information

Appearance and characteristics of the Great Cave
The length of the Great Cave is 1440 meters, while its height is 30 meters. This cave has 4 halls, which still do not have their own names. It is rich in special forms of cave jewelry made of snow-white reels, which you will especially like. There is a new species in the Great Cave, which is endemic and relict for southeastern Serbia. This is a recently described and diagnosed species of endogenous runner - Winklerites serbicus.
How to get to the Great Cave?
- If you start from Belgrade by car, you will reach the village of Drzina in 3 hours and 10 minutes (by highway A1 / E75).
- You can also reach Pirot by bus. Autoprevoznik Presto organizes 3 transports daily from Belgrade. The price of a one-way ticket is 2000 dinars, while the return ticket is 3000 dinars.
- A much larger number of departures is organized from Nis to Pirot. A one-way ticket costs 500 dinars, while a return ticket costs 800 dinars. For detailed information, call the Pirot bus station on the phone number: 010/342 548.
