It is located on the right bank of the river Drina, below the slopes of Mount Tara. It is a wooden house, located on an isolated rock, 2 km from the center of Bajina Basta. This interesting and popular tourist place was created in 1969, when the first house on the rock was built. Unfortunately, the river Drina flooded, demolished and carried away this house with its water levels several times. When it was renovated for the sixth time, 2 stable concrete beams were poured on the rock as a solid foundation for placing a wooden object. However, after the great flood in 2010, the Drina once again took the house off the rock. But next year, this building is being renovated and since then it has stood firmly on its pedestal and attracted a large number of tourists.

How to get to Kućica na Drini?
- If you start by car from Belgrade, you will need about 2 and a half hours to drive to this place (by highway A2 and via Route 170).
- From the center of Bajina Basta to Kucica on the Drina you can reach on foot. It will take you about 20 minutes via Route 170.
- If you do not want to walk, call one of the taxi carriers and you will arrive in less than 5 minutes. We recommend: Taxi Pavlović (065/615 29 13), Plus Taxi (065/861 99 91) or Mata Taxi (060 086 28 62).
