Activity of the City Gallery of Uzice
The City Gallery hosts various exhibitions of paintings, sculptures, designs, as well as book promotions. The work of the Gallery emphasizes the orientation towards young people and it represents a place where young artists can show their works. Thus, in August and September, the exhibition "Those who come" is held, where students from Uzice at art faculties and academies exhibit their achievements. There are also various educational programs for children within the project "Reach Art", and in 2009 the projects "Graffiti Night" and "Wall Mosaic" were held for the first time, which are aimed at older children. What the Gallery is best known for is the International Graphic Biennial "Dry Point", which takes place in June and July and focuses on manual, not computer work.
