The Borova building is located in the very center of Sabac and is one of the most important symbols of Sabac. Krsmanovic's house is also one of the most representative works of the first phase of Serbian academicism. Unfortunately, it has not been preserved in its original edition.

History of Krsmanovic's house
Krsmanovic's house was built in 1891 and was built as a business-residential building with several larger shops on the ground floor and living space on the first floor. Jovanka Topuzovi received this house as a dowry from her father and equipped poor girls for marriage, which is a good example of philanthropy of her time. The last heir, Krsmanovic, donated the house to the state in order to keep it preserved and protected. The Borovo store has been located on the ground floor of this building for a long time, which is why it is also known as the Borovo building.
