Zlot is a village in the town of Bor, which has about three thousand inhabitants. The Zlotska River flows through it and is one of the largest small towns in Serbia. In its vicinity there are a large number of tourist attractions which makes Zlot itself quite a popular place. It is about twenty kilometers away from the center of Bor.

History of Zlot
Back in 1837, the first primary school in the Bor municipality was opened in Zlot, on the site of which today stands the House of Culture with a cinema. There are several cafes, shops in the city center. There is also the church of the Holy Prophet Elijah, as well as the triumphal arch in the center, erected in memory of the fallen fighters from the wars until 1918. The mountainous area of this place is full of natural beauties such as the mountains Crni vrh, Malinik, Beljavina and the inevitable Lazarus cave. Nature was extremely generous towards this area, which is reflected in the various reliefs. Canyons, blind valleys, clear streams, will make you want to see this town more than once. In addition to its vast history, Zlot is also known for the animals that live here, such as the wild eagle and the chamois. Flora is not absent when it comes to rare species of plants such as "Ramondia", which can be found exclusively in this area.

How to get to Zlot?
From Bor Zlot can be reached by car in about twenty minutes, while from Belgrade it takes about three hours.
