Liman Park is the youngest park in Novi Sad, a place for famous for hosting various recreational and sports events. It is located in the central part of the residential area Liman, near the river Danube and covers an area of ​​12.9 ha. It was created as a much-needed green oasis that enriched the apartment blocks and provided the surrounding population with a place to relax and enjoy the shade of vegetation. Conceptually, the arrangement of the Liman Park is designed to have the characteristics of the Danube landscape blended into the urban environment. The park is designed to be dominated by massifs of greenery, groups and individual solitary trees in open areas. The main entrances from Narodni Front Street, on the north side and the entrance on the west side, are dominated by lower types, thus enabling the view towards the interior of the park to be opened. The northern entrance represents the beginning of the central promenade. Its main feature is a centrally placed circular rose garden. A fountain is located next to the western entrance, near which there is a children's playground. The extreme southeastern part of the park is home to the only skate park in Novi Sad, right next to it and spaces for dogs to play.
