History of the Danube Park
It got its name because it leans on Dunavska Street. During the 19th century, on the site of today's park, there was a branch of the Danube covered by vegetation and then a meadow where fairs were organized. Although the decree to clean up the park was passed at the end of the 19th century, the park received its greatest improvement at the beginning of the 20th century.
