About 3 km north of Mitrovac on Tara, above the road Perucac-Mitrovac, stands the viewpoint Kozja stena. Due to the proximity to the Banjska stena viewpoint and almost the same view that extends from them, people often confuse or equate them. There is also a cave under the viewpoint, but the road to them is not nicely marked. Visit Kozja stena at your own calculated risk and be especially careful when climbing.

About viewpoint Kozja stena
The viewpoint rises 700 meters above the Drina and reaches an altitude of 962 meters. From this height, the view extends over the Drina canyon, the area of Osat in Bosnia and Perucac. At a little lower than 40 meters from the viewpoint is an entrance to Kozja cave, the access to which is not arranged properly. The space on the viewpoint is not protected by any kind of fence and there is no additional equipment.

How to get to the viewpoint Kozja stena?
You can reach Kozja stena by car to the base, from where it is necessary to continue on foot. The path that leads to the viewpoint has no special markings, so you will have to rely on your ability to navigate in nature.

By car: head north towards Krnja Jela where you need to join the state road 403. Follow this road to Mitrovac onTara from where you turn left onto the road that leads you to Kozje stene
