Characteristics of the Town house
What stands out in the Town house is the Mosaic Hall, which is the central hall and is located on the mezzanine floor. It is dedicated to Moravian Serbia, and the mosaic cycle "In the Glory of Krusevac" was done by academician Mladen Srbinovic. In the central fields of the south and north sides are wall mosaics that were shown in 1971 and on which the figures of knez Lazar and despot Stefan can be seen. The floor mosaics were laid in 1986, and 16 compositions in lunettes were shown three years later and feature historical and epic figures.
Within the Town house, the marble sculpture "Herzegovinian weaves a wreath" by Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendic, as well as Njegos's bust located on the plateau on the south side of the City Hall and which is a gift from the author's wife Sreten Stojanovic, stand out.
